FlattenReference is part of the WaveTrain system class library.
FlattenReference moves curvature from the reference wave to the field. It can be used to switch from spherical or cylindrical wave propagation to plane wave propagation. The wave reference focus is set to zero while focus is added to the field such that total focus is unaffected. The wave grid geometry is unchanged.
